Harmandir Sahib

Harmandir Sahib (Peniabice ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ), etiam Darbar Sahib (Peniabice ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ, /dəɾbɑɾ sɑhɪb/), et Templum Aureum facile appellatum, est sacrosanctissima gurduara Sikhisticum, Amritsar in urbe Panjabica Indiae situm.

Maharaja Ranjit Singh regionem Panjabicam ab impetu externo saeculo undevicensimo ineunte munivit ac superiora gurduarae tabulata auro texit, speciem propriam usitatumque nomen constituens.

Harimandir Sahib a Sikhis habetur sacrum.

Superbly managed by selfless Kar Sevaks. A must visit at night to see it sparkling in the lake and do eat the Langar. It's tasty and u'll be in awe of the massive workforce managing the entire langar.

There is lot more than what meets your eye. Golden temple has a positive aura. You need to close your eyes and sit around the pool of nectar and you can feel positive vibes especially in early morning

Definitely get a guide to help you understand the history, religion, architecture, and current practices. To avoid crowds (especially inside the temple), go early in the morning.

The place is amazing. Open almost 20 hours per day. Best pictures are at night. If you are hungry you can have a free meal there.
