Mysterious stone circle. Can spend hours here absorbing the atmosphere. Try the pub (only one in UK within a stone circle).

Unlike Stonehenge one can get right next to the stones of multiple stone circles. Great way to spend the afternoon when near Swindelon or Chiseldon.

A circle of ancient stones from the bronze age that was used as a calender system and burial grounds nearby. Don't mix up with Stonehenge

Better than Stonehenge. Beautiful fields with ancient stones arranged in a giant circle. Great hiking. Not too crowded.

These stunning stones built on the ridgeway are worth visiting on the way to Stonehenge..
